This policy supplements our
Privacy Policy for "consumer health data" under the Washington My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370) and Connecticut's consumer health data provisions.
1. The consumer health data we collect, and why
- What you describe: the symptoms and complaints you type or dictate, and your answers to the App's follow-up questions — to find the traditional homeopathic information that matches them and show you your results.
- Remedy kits you select (a kit can reveal, for example, a pregnancy) — to limit your results to remedies you have.
- Your results and history: the remedies and notes the App generates for you, including any safety note — so you can see them and revisit past consultations.
- Processing logs: technical records of how a consultation was processed, kept for up to 90 days — to fix problems and keep the results accurate.
- The fact that you use a health app and whether you have used a consultation — to run your account and, only if you switch on "Tips and offers", to choose which offers to send you.
We collect this data only with your consent, which the App asks for before your first consultation. We do not use it for any other purpose.
2. Where it comes from
- From you, in the App.
- From your device's speech recognition (Apple or Google), if you dictate instead of typing.
- From our own processing: the results generated from what you describe.
3. What we share, and with whom
We share consumer health data only with service providers that process it for us, to provide the App:
- Cloud hosting and database (Google Firebase / Google Cloud): all of the data above.
- AI processing (OpenRouter, Inc. and Google, including Google Cloud Vertex AI in the EU): your descriptions, answers, the remedy shortlist and related literature excerpts, without your name, e-mail or account identifier.
- Literature search (Pinecone Systems, Inc.): numerical representations (embeddings) of search queries derived from your consultation.
- Support e-mail (Brevo): only what you choose to write in a message to our support team.
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share it with advertisers: the optional advertising-measurement feature described in our Privacy Policy is not offered in Washington, Nevada or Connecticut. We do not use geofencing. We have no affiliates that receive this data.
4. Your rights
- Confirm and access: ask whether we collect, share or sell your consumer health data, get a copy of it, and get the list of all third parties and affiliates with whom we have shared it, with their contact details.
- Withdraw consent: in the App (Profile → Privacy choices) or by e-mail. The consultations will then no longer be available, because they cannot work without this data.
- Delete: delete your account in the App (Profile → Delete account), or ask us by e-mail. We delete your data within 30 days (in practice at once). Copies our AI providers may keep for a short time to detect abuse are deleted by them automatically, within 55 days at the latest.
- Appeal: if we decline a request, write to us with "Appeal" in the subject line. We will answer within 45 days and explain our decision. If you are not satisfied, you can contact your state Attorney General (Washington: atg.wa.gov; Nevada: ag.nv.gov; Connecticut: portal.ct.gov/ag).
Send requests to info@similia.io. We answer within 45 days (we may extend this once by another 45 days when necessary and will tell you why). We may ask you to confirm the request from the e-mail address of your account. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
